Work is something that has to be done, something that MUST be endured, right?
For years, that's what I believed.
I still remember my first day in that tiny cubicle, spending hours in front of a monitor, being extremely dissatisfied with the life society expected me to lead.
It was a limited reality. My job determined where I lived, how much money I earned, and what kind of lifestyle I could have.
Deep down inside I was screaming for more freedom and a more meaningful life.
I knew I needed to do something else, I knew I needed to create my own circumstances.
So I took the plunge and started to work on building multiple streams of passive income online.
Fast forward to today and this new passive income that I have created is allowing me to live a life of complete liberty.
From my experience, when you reach the place in your life where you do not need to work, a surprising and wonderful thing happens..
You WANT to work.
And the difference between the two words, “need” and “want” is quite remarkable..
It’s the difference between fear and love - The fear of not being able to survive without a paycheck, compared to the love of doing what you want to do, no matter whether you are paid or not.
I truly believe that work should not be something you have to endure around the clock, but something you enjoy and want to do.
You should be able to create a business that fulfills the life you want, not the other way around.
Your job should not determine your life.
Trading time for money has become so common in our society that it seems the only way to live life. We have been conditioned to believe this is the safest way to earn a living, meanwhile are you really living?
The choice is yours. Either be the victim of circumstances, or grab the bull by the horns and actually try things out for yourself.
The main message I want to leave you with today is this:
Don’t give up on freedom.
Your life doesn’t need to be subordinate to work - you can start enjoying the fruits of your labors now.
The whole idea of working hard 40+ hours a week for more than 40 years is something of the past.
My goal with this site is to help as many people as possible to find freedom and fulfillment in what they do. Join my free newsletter and get motivated to embark on your own financial freedom journey.
Yours truly,
Tal Gur
P.S. Financial Freedom is NOT about ending work and doing nothing. It's about using your new freedom to create a life you are so passionate and excited about that you can't wait to wake up in the morning. Rather than planning to retire from work, do work that is so rich and fulfilling that you never want to retire from it... Why retire from something you love anyway??
